Hi everyone, I have nearly completed a complete re-write of our Gloster Gauntlet page.

Many thanks to Alex Crawford and Gordon Birkett for their invaluable help.

As you will see - I still have a few elements to complete the page - but I thought I'd share it with you all now.

There are still a few to add

Hey, have you ever thought of becoming an ADF-Serials page author?
Here is you chance, this particular type has a lot going on and we need someone to collect the news item so that we can preserve the early history of the Taipan

Posted by: Martin Edwards Oct 31 2018, 08:30 PM
WHAT WE DIDN'T GET DONE!

Mark Harbour has provided a swag of B-25 and Boston codes but unfortunately time got the better of me including them in October's update

Likewise Mike Mirkovic has provided us with a great collection of Beaufighter, Liberator and Mitchell photos that I have yet to add

I'll try and catch up ASAP

After nearly 80 years since its demise we receive our first photos of http://www.adf-gallery.com.au/gallery/Demon-A1-28 from Alan Capp
It is great that these photos are still out there and ADF-Serials is pleased that we can show them to an appreciative audience
Thanks Alan

Just an observation, this month's update thread has had approx 260 views
Back in September 2105 we had approx. 3000 views.
July 2013 had 4700 views.
I wonder where all the viewers went? (err maybe Facebook)

Only the true historian geeks still seek out adf message board. At least all the data is easily found unlike stalkbook

Posted by: Martin Edwards Nov 3 2018, 05:33 PM
Detrimental to this messageboard maybe, to the overall website no.
It has provided us with a wealth of new historical images and I am sure it has exposed ADF-Serials to a much wider audience overall.
