Work has been quietly continuing over this month , and I can report that:

1) I've been doing a major re-write and expansion of our http://www.adf-serials.com.au/capturedWWII.htm section of the site.

The scope has now expanded to cover types captured, operated, evaluated or inspected by Australian Forces.

Work is still ongoing but we have identified at least 58 types - and more to come - even more than I expected myself!

Every existing page has had some form of update and some 34 new pages have been added or are coming. The is still much more to work to do in this space.

A few of the more complete pages include:

Fiat CR.42 Falco
Henschel 126B-1
Macchi C-200 Saetta
Messerschmitt Bf 109
Morane-Saulnier M.S.406
Piaggio P.108B Bombardiere
Tachikawa Ki-54 (Hickory)

Many require more details to be added but add some fascinating and obscure types such as:

Bloch MB.200
Breda Ba.88
Caudron-Renault C.445 Goéland
Dewoitine D.520
Farman 220
Fiat RS.14
Lioré et Olivier LeO 25 H-258
Lioré et Olivier LeO 451
Potez 25
Potez 63.11
Società Idrovolanti Alta Italia SIAI S.16ter

There is even a damaged Martin Maryland that was captured from Vichy French forces - a type that had a fleeting RAAF use - so now the Maryland exists in two two section of our site! (it already features in http://www.adf-serials.com.au/rafww11.htm.

There are a few experimental page layouts and much more imagery to come.

Some exiting photo links are temporary until we can get them into the gallery proper including many from the very rich resources of the AWM.

2) In more current developments, we have updated the details for http://adf-serials.com.au/3a35.htm A35-023 and A35-024 which both took to the air for the first time recently.
