It is time for another one of my all too rare book reviews (probably because I don't get sent that many books hint hint )
This time it is a small but well written and very interesting book by Mark Hill
Titled "Sir, Who Won the War?" it is based on Mark's experiences and memories of being raised in the Gippsland area.
In fact his family history is well linked with the RAAF as the land that the RAAF base at East Sale was built on used to belong to his mother's family.
A quick look through the contents will show that he has covered a wide range of topics, some are well known stories and some not so well known.
Take the story on page 28 "The Masters Choice at ADF-Serials" Now what can that be about?
In a time when it is hard enough to get credit and a mention for using our work here we have a couple of pages blowing our trumpet! Thanks Mark laugh.gif
The book is full of many bite size stories that are easy to digest and perfect bedtime reading 😴
I can thoroughly recommend this book to everyone but especially to those living in the Gippsland region of Victoria.

The cost of the book is $20 including package and post to anywhere in Australia.
