| Does anyone have any information about this photo? Aircraft type, serial, location and date is all I ask! Hopefully the crew escaped injury. Believed to be in Australia |

Martin, you are quite right of course, not the 504 squared tips. The elevator is too narrow for a Pup, SE or DH9/9A. Are we sure it is at PCK? |

| On reflection, I have a feeling that (judging by the horizontal tailplane layout) that this aircraft is from the Sopwith stable. Not sure which exact type, but the tailplane angles seem to line up with the Sopwith design philosophy. |

| I think we have a winner! The Phantom thinks it is Sopwith Pup A4-4 Crashed 04/12/24 on take off into hangar at Point Cook I suspect the elevator is angled from the horizontal explaining why it appears smaller |
