EDWARDS, Martin By Marcus Peake

https://www.faaaa.asn.au/obituaries/edwards-martin/

We have received advice that Martin Edwards passed away on Tuesday 25 February 2020. He was 63 years old.

Martin did not serve in the Fleet Air Arm: he was an Associate Member, who joined Vic Division in December 2019 as he, like many of us, had a love for aircraft. He was also an active member of the “ADF Serials” team – a dedicated bunch of people committed to capturing details of every aircraft that had served in the ADF, including those in Navy. He will be sorely missed.

If anyone can add further details about Martin, please use the ‘Contact Us’ form at the foot of this page [at FAAAA URL above].

Hello all,

I had the sad duty of attending our dear friend and ADF-Serials brother Martin's Funeral yesterday.

I learned a lot about his life and times that I did not now despite our close collaboration here at ADF-Serials over the past two decades.

His passing has been quite a shock to a great many and he will be very sorely missed.

Blue skies Martin.

Thanks for these replies. I assume it will be OK to pass on this info to the FAAAA webmaster? I'll also assume a page will be made about Martin there.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Phil,

Please pass this on - I'd also be happy to chat and add any other information that I can for that page with you.

Thanks

I should have added that I reckon by e-mailing the Webmaster Marcus Peake at FAAAA you have direct communication with him. That would be best.
