| Photo of the Italian light cruiser " Armando Diaz " with a couple of Cant 25 ARs from the Cairns Historical Society collection. The ship was in Australia for the Melbourne centenary celebration and called at Cairns on the way home from December 3 to December 5 1934. Photo was taken at Cairns wharf. It was later sunk by the Royal Navy sub HMS Upright of the coast of Tunisia in February 1941. |
