Well, given that it was better than 30 years ago, I suppose you might forgive me for not recalling exactly, but since we are on centre-line I would reckon it would only be about 10-15 seconds from trapping. I do recall that I took the photo from No 3 seat by simply setting the camera focus to infinity, setting the exposure to auto and holding it up and clicking blind. I was rather pleased with the way I managed to frame the ship in the windscreen, but it was totally blind luck it came out as well as it did. There is a bit of blur on the photo at full resolution which I put down to vibration in the aircraft, plus I was not braced up holding the camera at all. BTW, would it be too much trouble to move the photo from my avatar to replace the ADF Serials logo thing on my profile? I guess I am guilty of the old "careful what you ask for, you just might get it".
