| Can I ask why the RNZAF does not have an air combat force? Is it because it would be a waste of money because if New Zealand were to be attacked they would be covered by Australia and the US? |

| They cost a lot of money to buy and keep in the air. The Enzeds have decided it isnt worth the investment when viewing the perceived threats, or lack of them. I cant see the RAAF sending any of our small fighter force & the US have only recently begun talking to NZ about defence matters. |
