AFTER YEARS of deliberation, the AgustaWestland A.109 has been selected as the preferred type to finally replace the Royal New Zealand Air Force's eldery Bell 47G-3B Sioux training helicopters. The decision was announced on October 30 by the Chief of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Graham Lintott. The MoD will now enter into negotiations with the manufacturer to buy five A.109LUH and a simulator. Delievry to the RNZAF is anticipated arround 2010, when the type will join 3 Squadron at Ohakea, which currently operates the Sioux.

At least some good news from Kiwi's again..... still miss the A-4's blink.gif

We need to start a new aircraft page for this type (and any other Kiwi types that we have yet to cover)
Anyone intersted in doing it?

Amen to that.

If any one can provide the content, I can help with the format!
