Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) and Airbus Helicopters have signed a contract for Airbus to provide 15 Airbus EC 135 T2+ helicopters for the ADF’s AIR 9000 Phase 7 helicopter Aircrew Training System.
Rather than the familiar sea grey of the Squirrels or the camouflage scheme worn by the Kiowas, the new EC 135s will instead wear an attractive high-viz black and yellow scheme. Ala ex AAV Pic is ex Thales Best Gordy Attached Image |

Looks like the Royal Airforce Helicopter training scheme Gordy :D
Never-the-less a good send up - Navy registration and all As the ARMY don't like their choppas with the rat in a roundel, starboard side will be in ARMY livery no? what a reduction in airframes though 15 replaces 50+? :o This post has been edited by Grumpy Cobra on Nov 18 2014, 08:46 PM |
