It was a grey old day - but seeing A68-170 out and about in full flying trim was great!

Dave Gardiner (The Museum Director) was on towing duties and found a hole in the Point Cook tarmac which seemed to be exactly the right size for dropping A97-448's port main gear into - notice the angle of the wings!
It took an hour to decide what to do - before all four engines were fired up and they (very gingerly) taxied her out of the hole under full steam! Attached Image |
