Attended the Divisions yesterday for seeing out the Squirrel and Bravo Seahawk from FAA service very impressive parade on the ground, all concerned to be commended!

Flypast however not so good only one run down Runway 21 and only after everyone had dispersed to the Museum for lunch otherwise 2 passes at right angles to everyone and against the sun... but good to see 4 squirrels and 2 Bravos fly in formation for the last time...

According to a listing just sent to me, one of our former RAN S70B-2 (Bravo Seahawk), N24-002 has been added to the VH- register as VH-XHJ.
Operator is Flying Wombats Australia Pty Ltd - date of registration 01 October 2019.

There's a photo on the ADF Squirrel FaceBook page of an ex-RAN AS350BA (devoid of all markings and Main Rotor blades) at what looks like ANAM Moorabbin and described as belonging to Jayrow. Can anyone provide a possible tail number? I understand a total of eight Budgies were offered for disposal.

Flying Wombats Australia/Skyline Aviation group based at Belmont Airport NSW has purchased 11 ex. RAN S-70B-2 which will be converted to fire fighting aircraft.

VH-XHJ (ex. N24-002) has already been added to reg.

The other 10 a/c are believed to be N24-004,5,7,8,10,11,12,14,15,16.
