"The new addition to Tauranga’s aviation museum is taking shape as engineers work to rebuild the decommissioned craft into its former fighting shape.

A team of Royal New Zealand Air Force engineers have spent the last two days
reassembling the A4K Skyhawk in its new home at Classic Flyers on Jean Batten Drive.

It arrived in pieces on three transporters from Blenheim’s Woodburn Air Base on Monday.

SunLive has been on site to capture all of the developments as the long anticipated addition resumes its flying form."
