Back in 1996-97 A15-102, A15-103, A15-104 and A15-106 were given names by the aircrew.. All females names starting with D (started by an ex- 12sqn maintainer that worked on the d models as a flight engineer).. I believe that the the C models had a similar naming strategy.. Obviously the bosses didnt like that idea hence the new names.
