I have added the dates - 19 to 21Aug11 - of the Wide Bay Australia International Airshow to the event calendar. The web-site address is included, so please check it out. Not a military airshow, I know, but we have had interesting - for Bundaberg anyway - military visitors in the past.

Thanks,

Bruce Linwood

Hi All,

The Wide Bay Australia International Airshow is all over for another two years. Three days of sun and fun photographing planes at Bundaberg. (Four days really, as I spent Thursday at the end of the runway). When my list of military visitors is ready I shall post it for the interest of other members.

Sun, fun and plenty of dust as well Bruce !

Look forward to your list and some pics.

Rhino 011 popped in on Saturday for a brief aerial display only.

The lads coped well with the gentle breezes !

Looks like the parts are still being swapped among the fleet !

Great shots,

Perhaps we'll have to rename the "Roulettes" as the "Red Flaps"!

There is always wind in Bundaberg this time of year. And the dust! The wind is a factor, but officials in cars don't help either. And don't forget the cane-fire smoke (and the grass-fire started by the pyrotechnics). Still, all good fun and as photographers we adapt and cope with the difficulties presented to us on the day.
Should I add warbirds to the list?
