We are undertaking a major revamp of our pages concerning captured aircraft and today we have released an entirely new section on the types captured during Word War Two.
Captured and War Prize Aircraft in the hands of Australian Forces - World War Two 1939-1945 Each type now has it's own page and many types have been added compared to our original listing. Research is still ongoing in this area and our WWI pages are undergoing a similar treatment. As always, there is more to come ....... And here is a sneak preview of where our WWI Captured page is heading:

While we are whetting your appetite, here is another project that we are working on - lots more to go in this space:
Might Have Beens - Other aircraft types considered for Australian Military Service (IMG:http://www.adf-gallery.com.au/gallery/albums/B-17E-41-2153/B_17E_41_2153.png) This is an ongoing project in it's very early stages. Cheers |

Hi Brendan.
All great stuff. Your "might have been" links go to the WW1 prize aircraft... |

More great stuff. One minor technical difficulty is you placed the Fuji piston trainer over the Beech Musketeer info.
All interesting. |

And,
The new page that we gave you a sneak peak to is now live: Captured and War Prize Aircraft in the hands of Australian Forces - World War One 1914-1919 There is still some work to go tidying these up - but we thought that we'd make it available now in it's current form before the Christmas Break. Cheers to all (IMG:http://www.adf-gallery.com.au/gallery/albums/Rumpler-C-VII/E05442.jpg) |

A small update for the Convair 440 page.
Here is A96-353 now: http://latinflyer.com/puerto-rico/in-fligh...in-puerto-rico/ I last confirmed it was there in Jul15, but have no reason to believe things have changed. |
