Hi all,
Just added some photos of aircraft involved in the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 and below is a list of military aircraft involved :

Based at Pearce AFB :

10 Squadron, RAAF, AP-3C Orions A9-662, 751, 752 & 753.

11 Squadron, RAAF, AP-3C Orions A9-658, 659, 664 & 759.

5 Squadron, RNZAF, P-3K2 Orions NZ4203 & 04.

613 Navy Squadron, Republic of Korea Navy, P-3C-III+ Orion 950905.

251st Tactical Air Support Squadron, 5 Tactical Air Transport Wing, Republic of Korea Air Force C-130H Hercules 05-183.

20 Skuadron, Tentara Udara Diraja Malaysia, C-130H-30 Hercules M30-12 & 16 and H-130H-MP Hercules M30-09.

3rd Kokutai, Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force, P-3C-II1/2 Orions 5031 & 5037.

5th Kokutai, JMSDF, P-3C-II1/2 Orions 5056 & 5060.

3rd Region, Japan Coast Guard, Gulfstream U-4 Umi Washi JA500A.

Based at Perth Airport :

2 Squadron, RAAF, E-7A Wedgetails A30-001, 2, 3, 5 and 6 (at various times).

VR-58, U.S. Navy Reserve, Boeing C-40A Clipper Bu.No. 165834/834.

VP-16, U.S. Navy, P-8A Poseidons Bu.No.s 168429/LF-429, 168430/LF-430, 168433/LF-433, 168438/LF-438 and 168439/LF-439.

Despite the reason we were there, it was one of the best deployments I have done and really showcased the versatility of the P3 to those who work on them.
