Sorry Gordy just come across your message.

Yes "Pistol Packin' Mama" was the nose art on S/L Curly Brydon P-40N. Now he certainly flew A29-512 which was coded HU-Z (with an overscore on the Z). I presume u know what that meant. However the $64,000,000 question was A29-512 the Kitty that had the nose art on it?

A29-512 was lost barely a month after Curly Brydon left 78 Sqn with the loss of F/O Boyce. If the nose art was on it then it was lost in the sea that day.

The other HU-Z was -546 flown by Peter Finch.

Yeh well don't be shy and share your profile with us. But we can't put the cowl art on her though at this stage. Something I was hoping to do in my book. Oh well... :huh:
