There is a Heavylift Short Belfast based at Cairns, so recently I dug out an old Belfast photo I knew I had.

Surprise (I'd forgotten) - photo has Mirages of 3 and 75 Squadrons in the background, RAAF contribution to SEATO airshow 1970, at Don Muang, Bankok.

75 Sqn groundcrew had flown across from Butterworth in a Dakota and 3 Sqn with C-130 support had flown almost directly from Australia.

In a hangar across the airstrip a RAAF Caribou from Vietnam was under maintenance at the same time.

I thought perhaps this congregation of RAAF aircraft was little known?
