I was interested in these airframes noted on the web site:

151316 n/a waiting 153 151316 8H0037 To AMARC 18/06/93. To Kaman at Bloomfield, CN 09/02/99. For spares and ground instruction.

151330 n/a waiting 167 151330 8H0046 To AMARC 30/08/93. To Kaman at Bloomfield, CN 02/10/97. For spares and ground instruction.

152204 n/a waiting 188 152204 8H0016 To AMARC 25/08/92. To Kaman at Bloomfield, CN 09/12/98. For spares and ground instruction.

152206 n/a waiting 190 152206 8H0036 To AMARC 04/06/93. To Kaman at Bloomfield, CN 05/11/98. For spares and ground instruction.

Presumably the lack of an Australian s/n indicates that they are not flyable spares.

Were any/all of these airframes delivered to Australia?

Have any of them been partially/totally reclaimed as spares?

If so were they used as spares during the remanufacturing process or later as operations/maitenance spares?

Are any used as instructional airframes over here?

Any details?

Any photos?

The entry was just too tantalising!

Brendan, lot of questions in that lot:0) I have been trying to get more information on the Seasprites as to what is flying, which have been issued to the Squadron etc. Its pretty hard to come by at the moment. As for the instructional airframes I believe that 3 are at Nowra and 1 is to remain in the USA.

As soon as I can get some information on these I'll put them on the webpage, at the moment I am still awaiting a reply to a message that I sent about a week ago.

Regards
Dave :)

 I havn't seen them Darren.

Perhaps they are not posted yet?

BTW, the image for N29-161656 is sitting at the top of the list rather than in it's cell (I hope that doesn't come across nit-picky).

I'll slink off and behave myself now!

:o Actually darren - you're right.

There is a photo of N29-151316 in the Seasprite Gallery.

I missed because there is no link to the photo from entry for this airframe on the Seasprite page itself.

Time to slink away again.........
