This Unknown Huey sits at the fire training area on the Oakey Army base. I couldn't see any identification on her. Any ideas on which Huey?? Maybe A2-486 which was currently at RAMS as a training aid?

You cant see in the pics but there is a small portion of the cabin door on one side that hasn't been burned and it looks like the bottom half of a 6.

Hi all
It has to be an ex-MFO aircraft as it has the missile warning warts on the nose. This mod was paid for by the MFO. -486 it could be.

Welcome aboard Gomer!
That is a nice bit of observation, well done.
I think it is -486 so this is another clue supporting the theory

Cheers
Martin

Yikes,

Whether it's 486 or not, she's no got much training value left now!

Good pick up Gomer, and welcome aboard.
