The last two questions from Robert Blyth;

Q3: WW2 Archerfield: in early 1941, a team of US and RAAF riggers/fitters assembled a consignment of US P40 aircraft, with US Army Air Corps markings. (Son of a Fitter 2A so employed) Little seems known of this activity, I wonder why?

Q4: Were any of these aircraft used in the defence of Darwin in the first air raids?
