No Kas - you are wrong.
Rather than making stuff up, may I suggest that you refer to ADF-Serials Telegraph Volume 11 Issue 3 (from 2021) pp77 to 106. The image that you posted on farcebook also appears on p78 of the above issue. It shows 3 x B-25J's of 2SQN. The aircraft in that picture ARE A47-43/KO-B, A47-29/KO-D and, in the distance A47-41/KO-U. Several paragraphs and a big long table of detailed information shows code letter associations and changes. Also - only one "shark mouth". Gordon, John Bennett and for the final two years or so, I, put in many hundreds of hours of painstaking research to bring FACTS to this ADF-Serials site. The whole purpose was to correct errors that had crept into the historical record and to present and clarify other historical information in relation to (particularly) RAAF history. As an ex serving member and a person that believes that history is important, that detail is paramount and that actual facts must not be driven by fantasy, it shits me in the extreme that people like you continue to ignore the work that was done and either perpetuate untruths or just make stuff up when you have had this information delivered to your own in-box for up loading. You might think this stuff is trivial, and maybe it is but I find this sort of carelessness and disrepect of other peoples time, effort and work to be repulsive. Nothing further. Out. |

I wasn't going to add to this, but here are some more images ...
A47-28/KO-M (at the LH side of the image - no shark mouth) prior to deployment to Borneo (this line-up also includes the "shark-mouthed" A47-29/KO-D, although it is out of the image off to the left): This post has been edited by Shep on Nov 11 2022, 07:31 AM Attached Image |

Here is A47-28/KO-M at Seppingang after the end of hostilities (armament has been removed). Again no shark-mouth:

This is a heavily cropped version of the image I used on p82 of the above article. It shows A47-29/KO-D (with its unique shark-mouth marking) and A47-28/KO-M (second aircraft beyond "D" - with only the letter "M" on the nose). The previously shown view from the other direction shows "M" from the other side, again with only its letter on the nose. It received it's nose art at a latter stage but NEVER had a shark-mouth marking.
There is no problem questioning or challenging information, but please don't just invent "facts" based on nothing more than a mis-identification of an image. If you think you might have noticed something that has gone unnoticed before then say so and ask questions or investigate it for yourself, don't simply proclaim your error as being proof of something it isn't.
