Whilst on the subject of UAVs we also have the Scan Eagle now in use by the Army.
I can't find any referance to a serial number but chances are one would have been allocated. Any information would be welcome Attached Image |

Scan Eagle has been in use by the Army for several years now. It is supplied and operated by Boeing Defence Australia through a subsidiary company. This was probably our first UAV project.
They were launched by Boeing then handed over to the Army, operated by Army and then handed back to Boeing who would recover them. They also supplied and maintained them. This method of operation may have all changed now. They may not have an A number as they actually belong to Boeing. They were used in the mid east theatres. |
