Rec 1AD ex CAC 12/12/40. Rec 3SFTS 27/01/41. Within proximity of Amberley Airbase, 0011hrs early hours of 06/05/41 Aircraft turned onto back and dive 2000ft into ground on solo aerobatic flight. F/Lt J B Hawdon 3SFTS Killed at Amberley. Soc 03/05/41.

The Strike date is before the listed loss date.
Hawdon was killed on 25/04/41.

Actually, the E/E-88 Card has the accident on 25/04/41 ,..that's correct reinforced per entry date for AMSE Register (Entered) 06/05/41 it also being 25/04/41...... Errs occur when doing excessive data creation in candlelight, no doubt with a beer. Guess that's where the error started off top date when data entry.

After I finish the P-40E/E-1s per A29,.I'll visit A20-1 to A20-200 per proper methods as per P-40K-Ns,..including contracts details et Al

The Preliminary Accident Report of A20-194

E/E-88 had 03/05/41 date of advising AMSE that it was kaput.

As I said prior,.we'll get to the correction "on mass" when I do the A20-1 to 200 Histories (I know I only started at A20-58,..and accept one must get back to them sooner or later,..pending living that long LOL
