Forum Categories, Trying it out - what do you think?

Hi Folks,

You've probably noticed that the appearance of the Message Board has changed a little today.

I am experimenting with grouping our forums up into categories.

My main reasons for doing so are:

• The list of forums is getting longer.
• Some of the more popular forums are becoming very long and crowded.
• I'd like to make some of the goupings more orderly (eg Website updates)
• Thinking of newcomers, I'd like to make navigation a bit more straightforward.
• We didn't have enough forums in the past to use this feature - but we are adding more all the time now.

Anyway, let me know what you think, and please pass on any suggestions.

You might notice a few changes as I tinker around with this.

Once we're a bit more settled, I might run a poll to gauge the sucess/usefulness of the changes.

I have also added another new forum today called:

Museums & Airbases

We have quite a few topics on related subjects that I am moving (mostly) from the General Disccussion forum.

As I tidy things up a few other forums might spring into life!
