The CWGC has undertaken a major revamp of their site.
http://www.cwgc.org/search-for-war-dead.aspx Search functions have been enhanced so that you can now search cemeteries / memorials, honours and awards and keywords as well. Check out the entry for 10 MiD's Well worth a visit. |

In addition, search results can now be downloaded for spreadsheet use, in CSV format.
For example, specifying Served in/Air Force, a year at a time (by full start & finish date). The files download quite readily on broadband. The new online Search also offers a Regiment search field. However, for Air Force casualties the necessary RAF, RAFVR, RAFO etc distinction means looking up Squadron is not available - on line. However, it is there - in the downloaded results, as a single field Unit/Ship/Squadron. So, for Air Force casualties, once you have a full or partial set of downloaded files, you can sort/search etc by Unit/Squadron field. A great advance.
