Hi all,
Just a note to advise you all that the Beverley Aviation Museum in WA has closed, hopefully some of the arte-facts displayed there will be donated to Aviation Heritage Museum at Bull Creek. Will keep you updated on this. Mike M. :o |

A true shame, but I do hope that it all goes to a good home and nothing gets thrown away.

Any updates on the disposal of exhibits, especially Vampires A79-638 and 651
Although not displayed at the museum Vampire A79-651 is also listed as a museum asset http://www.beverley.wa.gov.au/documents/22...ance-assessment |

Yes I realise that but it lists the museum as owners of both Vampires instead of just the one with the town owning the other.
I wonder what will happen to both? Recent photos show both are in poor condition. |

Not too sure, sounds like I need to take a drive out there one day when I get back from Sydney.

The Vampires are still at Beverley, the Flying Flea is over East at a museum, the Silver Centenary is currently flying and is owned by Ron Edwards ( Selby Ford's grandson) and the Aviation Heritage Museum have the Flying Plank glider and the Human Powered aircraft.

I am not back in Perth until Late June, so will probably be July.
