The uploaded image album had been loaded with 380 images from our generous contributors.
That album has been put away for safe keeping until Kas and myself can move the photos to their correct aircraft albums.
It is a slow but satisfying job.
As the photos are added they will be acknowledged here
There is a fresh Uploaded image gallery at the same URL

Updated Tiger Moth page thanks to Bert Dugdale

Updated A17-695 thanks to current Canadian owner Doug Watson

At least A17-695 is now wearing a correct RAAF scheme rather than this one.

Fixed a typo on the Wirraway page for A20-133. It read that it was transferred to the RAN in 1957 and the data card says 1952.

Created favicons for all common devices and uploaded them to the root for the website. Added page code to the home page header so they'll now display when the home page is loaded. I'll modify individual page headers at a later time. A little ADF-Serials icon will now display next to peoples bookmarks for the homepage and next to the homepage title in browser tabs.

Many are unaccredited, most likely A.V.Roe & Co. PR and press photos.

Quick fix for our A56 Dassault Falcon 7X Page to update the MSN of A56-003 from the previously reported 285 to the more correct 286.

Martin has been adding lots of new images to the Nomad Image Gallery, so we have also been updating the links to these from the A18 GAF Nomad Page so that you can enjoy them.

These chaps have been taking a keen interest!

My update to the Nomad page didn't just include 100+ photos!
Although we do have new albums for A18-317, 321, 404, 404, 405, 406 and 407
The eagle eyed reader will notice that many of the higher serials do not include photos taken while in ADF service.
Truth is the Nomad N24s saw very little ADF service although they served for a long time in the TNI-AL.

TNI-AL is short for Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Laut, the Indonesian navy

The TNI-AL also 'acquired' 14 of the Army's N22B Nomads although there isn't a lot of evidence of them seeing much service.
They also acquired 16 containers of spares.
They are reported to have paid two million dollars for the 20 aircraft, some were nearly brand new.
And they got a million dollars a year for 10 years from Australia to operate them.

Of those 20 two were lost in fatal accidents, A18-319 in December 2007 and A18-403 in September 2009

Overall they must like them enough to mount a few on plinths.
Below is the former A18-315

Aircraft owners are very happy when ADF-Serials provide them with history and photos of their aircraft

ADF-Serials are very happy when aircraft owners provide them with history and photos of their aircraft

Our thanks to David Cooke, the current owner of Tiger Moth A17-316 (now VH-FAG)

What a wonderful looking beast. Not that there is anything wrong with Trainer Yellow but some of the post war civilian schemes just look so fine.
