I am not bitchin' about the errors and omissions - this is a great resource although for reasons stated one needs to be careful about same. Also not all names are with photos. There is a RAAF Pearce Graduation Photo FaceBook page but I have lost the URL for it and I'm not a FaceBooker so it is off limits.

Also there was an RAN Pilot Course Graduation FaceBook page but I believe Face Book changes URLs for photos yearly - another reason why I'm not on FaceFook.

YEP. I guess I should add there are RAAF cadet names missing with at least one seen in a previous course. Perhaps he transferred to our course from previous course, unbeknownst to me at the time. Two RAN Midshipmen were not on 67 course but on 68 course, Murray Smythe and Bob Williams. Records indicate that they and others were initially supposed to be on the 67 course but they actually stayed behind at CERBERUS and were posted on 68 course. Postings were recorded by hand in that era, with changes made by telephone at last minute. Some of the RAAF cadets were not on 67 but on 68 course.

Briefly looking at a few other nearby courses show many errors with RAN people mixed in from a few years before. I have no idea about the RAAF. No.67 photos appear to have been taken the day we arrived at POINT COOK. The cadets are in their civvies. I was 18 years and ten months in Oct 1967 then and had been in the RAN for 1 year and nine months already.

Photo attached shows all pilots on course with some RAAF bigwig instructors and base commander chucked in for good measure. Four RAN Midshipmen circled in red.
