I was able to get to Temora again this weekend and I am glad I did because Steve Searle had one of his Avengers there. It's a huge machine and looks fantastic.

It was also the first time I got to see the Hudson take off as well. Both aircraft look very smart and are first class restorations.
As an aside it was announced that Steve Searle has purchased a DB-7/A-20 Boston that will be restored to flying condition and flown in 22 Sqn colours. The obvious choice there is to have it in the colours of Flt Lt W.E. Newton's aircraft but I am hoping that another crews aircraft is chosen. Attached Image  |
