The original Globemaster - C-124 was on old favourite of mine, when as a youngster in the UK, they would lumber over to the north of my house on the Dunsfold Biggin Hill sector en route to Germany.
Now to an ID, the example "144" would be serial 51-0144, usually presented as 0-10144 on the tail. Unable to find a match for "1147"
