Updates include: More Airframes identified and added. Nelson (AKA Blackcat) has just completed his first revision of the:

A24 Catalina Page

To quote Nelson:

I have gone through the first 18 Catalinas delivered to Australia (A24-1 to A24-18) and updated each aircraft history with respect to departure/arrival dates and civil call-signs. I have tried to clear up the story behind the first Catalina delivered to Australia and the subsequent arrangements made with the British. I have also expanded, where possible, details of significant crashes and accidents together with the personnel involved.

I have also added an additional column to indicate the Catalina Type (i.e. PBY-4, PBY-5, PBY-5A, PB2B-1 or PB2B-2) and I've started creating links to the gallery if a relevant album exists.

Finally, I would also like express my thanks to Gordon who has provided a lot of help along the way - I'm sure he shudders every time he checks his emails :huh:

So 18 Cats down just another ~ 148 to go.

Messageboard Co-ordinator Group: ADF Serials Admin Posts: 2,458 Member No.: 48 Joined: 20-September 05	Hi Folks, I know that this isn't very glamorous, but we've been doing some overdue housekeeping on the site over the past few days. As we've been adding updated pages (the .htm versions), we had been leaving the old .shtml versions on line. Rather than completely deleting these superseded pages, we have now replaced them with pointer pages that direct visitors to the replacement page. You can see an example pointer page here: http://www.adf-serials.com/1a1.shtml Many other web pages have created links to our old pages and authors also use our pages as reference - so it was important to keep the old page addresses, but now they will point to our most updated information.
