From 08 November 2013 to 12 February 2014 our Message Board Service was out of action.
However, that did not stop or slowdown the updates to ADF-Serials or NZDF-Serials. Here is a quick overview of some of the updates that occurred during this time frame: ADF Serials Front Page. This received another revamp by adding an extra row of tiled links to our contact based pages (e.g ADF Serial Numbers Explained, Articles & Research, Crash Sites & memorials, NEI Aircraft, Website Links and Our Newsletter). We've added a new link to our Facebook Page and left the admin and site updates in a row above the tiles. Level 2 Pages Every page that links directly from our from page was updated and tidied up. Aircraft pages We have finally completed moving all aircraft pages up to our current format after over two years effort. Page updates continued on a great number of pages - far too many to list here! Some Highlights include: A94 Sabre in Indonesian Service A94 Sabre in Malaysian Service A44 Boeing F/a-18F Super hornet - Now incorporating the EA-18G Growler N48 MH-60R Seahawk Casa 212 Aviocar We have also added new pages including: A35 Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II Avions Mundry CAP 10B Mil Mi-26 Halo Piper Seneca Of course the Image Gallery continued to grow too and we are now very close to having 23,000 images online! Also Check out our NZDF-Serials pages for some major updates there too! Cheers Brendan |

Thanks to James Hollinworth we have a new page today on the:
Eurocopter EC.135 We've had a placeholder for this type on the site for ages as some of you will have noticed but hadn't got around to producing the page yet - so a little information from James spurred us into action! There is still a little way to go yet to fill out a few more of the details and it's crying out for some photos too! No doubt there will be more to come on this type as it was announced on the 27th of January 2014 that Boeing Defence Australia and Thales Australia have been selected as the preferred tenderer to provide the ADF’s new Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) under AIR 9000 Phase 7. Any updates or photos of these airframes would be very much appreciated. Cheers BC Attached Image |
