Day 4 was spent between East Sale and Melbourne. I'll list everything this time becasue there can't be too much sensitive information about PC9's the Roulettes use - can there?

The other S-2's were still in their hangar, but we didn't ask to go in this time because we saw them all on our last trip 2 years ago. Apparantly they all need to be gone by Christmas this year.

We also visited the local army barracks in search of the 3 Macchis that were supposed to be stored there. Nothing found. We then asked about them at the RSL. A quick phone call revealed they now have 5 Macchis, but they said that their current location is a secret, and refused to tell us. They did state that 3 were being restored for display, and the other two would go somewhere else - also a secret. The bloke seemed to enjoy teasing us about them, but wouldn't reveal their current location.

I hope that you had previously visited Point Cook and Moorabbin and not missed out on these two!

Yep - went to both two years ago, and also to Avalon to get the Canberra there.

Got the two speeding tickets from the camera on some bridge to prove it  Wasn't me driving, but apparantly as a special treat it was double demerit day, so the person thjat was driving isn't in any rush to return there.

PS : Why doesn't Quote and/or Bold work?
