Seahawk N24-003 photographed 10th July 2012 named "Valkyrie"
Does anyone know if any other Seahawks have been given names? Attached Image |

Well spotted Martin,
This photo also promts me to wonder when the Navy's Seahawks started to receive the FLIR turret and other assorted nose bumpery. Cheers BC |

Martin
here is another named Seahawk. This is N24-003 872 named "Christine"" the photo is via Robert Frola. The phot was taken in March 2011. So it looks like Christine has been renamed Valkerie This post has been edited by Dave Masterson on Nov 17 2012, 07:43 AM Attached Image |

Guys,
I think we have wires crossed here. This is not the same a/c. The top photo I believe is "83" (not 003), ie "883" N24-014 "Valkyrie". The second pic is "72", ie "872" N24-003, and well may be "Christine" |

Here is N24-007 named "Gremlin"attached to HMAS Newcastle. Note the Knights helmet on the nose. Probably a reference to the Newcastle Knights.
