My son is the Flight Engineer on one of the HARS Caribou's and he took this footage of a circuit around Albion Park airfield.

I have been very lucky to have the opportunity to fly in, dispatch airdrop cargo from, jump from, loadmaster and finally fly (briefly) the Caribou over the last 13 or so years. It's over for now though. Ahhh well, it was good while it lasted and I wouldn't swap the experience for anything in the world.

The guys who run the 'bous at HARS, both the engineers and the crew, are some of the most dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced people I have ever met. Without Clive, Bob St.John, Trevor, Roy, Gonz, Doug, Rod, Bob Hazel (A seriously competent 'bou pilot), Scott, Paul, Chris J, Don Hindle and many, many others, they would just be museum pieces. When you stay out of the HARS politics, you can see that what they manage to achieve is amazing. The "'bou crew" in particular, are a good bunch of people.
