BC Aussie spy plane crashes into Timor house Email Print Normal font Large font May 10, 2007 - 6:04AM AnAustralian unmanned spy plane has crashed into a house in East Timor. The accident in a densely populated part of Dili narrowly avoiding causing injuries, The Australian reports. An investigation is expected to determine whether the spy plane crash was due to technical failure or operator error, with charges likely should it prove to be the latter. Repairs will be made to the house, which was unoccupied when hit last Thursday. Military helicopters were scrambled immediately after the crash, to find the wreckage. |
