No I am not confusing this with the J model.

I've recently seen a H model with a similar colour scheme to the J. It looks like a medium type grey with a light grey on the lower surfaces and seperated by a soft edge, waved demarcation line.

For interest only of course.

The H model in question is 08. The colour scheme is similar to the J model but has a waved demarcation line on the lower fuselage as opposed to the straight demarcation line on the J.

The scheme as displayed on 08 is the current authorised scheme and what the J should have looked like (so I am lead to believe).

No photos available yet.

Here is a pic of the aircraft that I saw, could not make out any national markings but it did have some large numbers/letters on the side of the nose.

I may be wrong but I do not think it is one of ours.

E models never had the big numbers on the nose, and if I recall the A models only had them for a short time.

Prop tip colour are the old USN type, I believe that ours are black.

That aircraft Rod would be a US Navy aircraft as there were 3 of them transiting through Richmond recently, each with a four digit number between the nose and crew door.

No Darren, the colour scheme looks the same but, no numbers on the tail and as well as I could see with binoculars at Movements where it was parked the markings on the nose were. JW
