Gordy

You have a USAAF serial for A16-143? This aeroplane always was a problem child.

Regards

Ron

Gordy,

You say - - "Below is the UK request to relinquish Indent 790 of 49 Hudsons. (Doesn't want to load,..fifth attempt failed) Oh well
Now the hunt is on to find out whether they received a block Serial group in RAF Service"

The 49 Hudsons of cancelled Australian indent 790 were taken up as British contract A-446 on 19Jun40. The contract was amended 02Nov40 deleting the last 19 from this contract, and adding them to a later contract.

The 30 Hudsons remaining on this contract were AE609 - AE638.

Wynnum.

PS Ron, Gordy,
Why was there ever cause to doubt the identity of A16-143 ? Must have been some reason/s -I'd like to hear them.

Gordy,

You say "Only two Hudsons FY41 Serials not IDed. 41-23282 and 41-23213"

We've spoken about 41-23213.
Its well recorded 41-23282 went to China under British serial BW420.

Cheers, Wynnum.
