Beat me to it as a very reliable source has also told me that -017 is also being built in Germany to ease production line problems here and preserve the delivery schedule.

The first (015) will be complete except for some specialised equipment and the second will be approximately half complete. They were supposed to have been delivered by AN124 to Australia early in October but perhaps not.

Yes indeed its A40-015 by the number, but contractually does that mean 7 or more are now being assembled in Europe ?

Has the Tiger program caused a MRH-90 production delay and a number being built over there now will increase ????Can of worms stuff. Need more data now

By the way, tha Einst grey HEER Uniforms were possibly a giveaway too I guess in Hindsight LOL

Maybe the Army is getting them quicker for a Sandpit deployment in 2011.

They've already deferred the CH-47F to 2016 and canned the ALR2002 installation to 12 S70's for 171Sqn.

Nothing to do with this, unless slung under a Chook, we've ordered 35 M777 155mm Gun/Howitzers for the drop shorts

A continued perplexed Gordy

Haven't spotted the mysterious Teutonic pair ( - 015 and -017 ) yet. Although I recall hearing that an An124 in Oct '09 had "choppers on board".

Another of -011 hovering in today's heat haze.

I am reliably informed that there are in fact 5 MRH-90s at Edinburgh at the moment.
