A8-134 blew a tyre on landing at Derby W.A in the late 70's. Aircraft left the runway and ended up bogged a fair distance from the runway.

Side shot. Yep, That's bogged, they had to use railway sleepers under the tyres to get the aircraft to move.

More to the story of how and what happened. The F-111 was operating out of Darwin during an exercise and while on it's sortie it received a hot light in the cockpit,( which means land as soon as possible). When landing at Derby the anti-skid failed causing the right-rear tyre to explode sending the aircraft of on a very bumpy ride. The F-111 was grounded there for a week due to nearly everything having to be replaced, both engines due to all the rocks and junk that went down the intakes, none of the radios, avionics or radar worked due to the shaky ride. There was a Herc load of spares arriving everyday from Amberley to fix it and when the aircraft finally left Derby for Darwin it's Anti-skid failed again on landing causing it to be grounded again.
